Welcome to the College of Humanities and Fine Arts Web Site! The CHFA SOA Committee has created a variety of resources for use by the College Departments in conducting student outcomes assessment. FAQ about SOA : The CHFA SOA Committee receives lots of questions about student outcomes assessment. We’ve compiled answers that we have found helpful in our own thinking about student outcomes assessment. SOA Resources : The CHFA SOA Committee has created a glossary of assessment terms and a verb list to use in creating goals and outcomes. A handout on establishing reliability and validity in assessment is also found here. A review of Bloom’s taxonomy assists faculty members in reflecting on what we mean when we say "We want students to know the material."
